Alexandra Penthouse, Trio

Interiors & Decoration for Spence & Lyda

Formally the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, the redevelopment of this site by Trio is rich in heritage and contains a number of mementos of it's historical roots.

Engaged to decorate  one of the two penthouse apartments, focus was given in creating an eclectic feel to the space, in order to balance both the modern elements and heritage nature of the site.

Being a completely blank space, we were tasked with creating a complete scheme for the look and feel of an occupied dwelling.

Mid century collectable furniture combined with interesting textiles, custom joinery, artwork,  and collectables, achieved  a cohesive and layered design, incorporating appealing details.

" The synergy between the interiors and architecture has given the living spaces a real energy, and taken urban design to a new level."
